Paul's Greeting ~ Romans Chapter 1

Read Romans 1:1-7

The book of Romans is the foundation of our Christian faith. Romans is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to clearly describes our nature as sinners and the deliverance from our sin. Paul wants to take the good news of the gospel to the ends of the earth and the farthest place at that time was Spain. He writes this letter to Rome because he is both a Roman citizen and a Jew. Paul knows that this will give him a much larger audience.

Who wouldn't like to hear some "Good News?" We hear so much bad news ~ death, divorce, chronic illnesses, the bad economy, the catastrophic weather in the world and so on. Plus life's circumstances may leave us desperate and powerless to do anything.  I don't know about you but I could use some good news.....and Paul has a lot of "Good News" to share with the Romans, the Jews and all of us. So let's spend some time together hearing about this "Good News" ....
