Strength For Each Day!

Each day brings us new challenges; some good and some not so good! We really don't need to prepare for the good things but how do we prepare for the "not so good" that comes at any given moment? We've all been there when we have gotten bad news regarding our health or the health of a loved one. Daily on the news we hear about accidents, job losses, death and so much more. What about all the news regarding the economic uncertainty of our country with all the doom and gloom coming from our politicians? It's no wonder anxiety is so prevalent in our society.

If worry and anxiety helped or did something beneficial I would be the first to tell you since I do both so well. Instead I find it begins to defeat me almost immediately and is of no benefit to us going into any kind of difficult situation.

Judges 6:14-16
Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the LORD said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.
