The world and life has moments of darkness that are overwhelming. Today I was reminded of that when I heard the pain of betrayal in someone I dearly love. These are the moments that I feel so powerless. I know there is nothing I can say or do to remove the disappointment that is such a part of this world.
This morning my devotional John 1 and verse 5 was a reminder to me that Christ is our light in the darkness of this life. I began to pray that in the midst of despair God would send His light in some way as He so often has in my own life.My hope is built on nothing less that Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ the solid rock I stand All other ground is sinking sand. All other ground is sinking sand.
